Jackie started to become interested in food service in 2005 and for many years worked in primarily restaurants. In 2016 she became interested in coffee. Coffee shops and bakeries had so much more to offer with their cozy and relaxed atmosphere. She realized that this was more than an interest and in 2018 it became a passion of hers. Visiting dozens of coffeeshops in the area and internationally while also studying the drinks and their components. Her curiosity continues with opening her own coffee shop in the future named, Virgo Rising.

Virgo Rising Coffee started with striving to provide a more sustainable and eclectic coffee experience. Not only are we continuously moving forward with better environmental practices such as, compostable cups, lids, and straws; along with decreasing our packaging consumption through making our own syrups, we are also 100% vegan. We are an inclusive and open-minded community who brings compassion and understanding to the forefront.
